If you run across good pictures of the PCV location on any Dodge products, please post them here.

Courtesy of a thread elsewhere on the site started by Harry Christie, we have gained these GIF's of the PCV valve location on the 2005 and later 5.7 L. The same type of PCV is used in all Dodge products I have seen in that year class.

OVERVIEW

PCV Valve

On this type of valve, it is necessary to rough, then fill the extreme bottom with an epoxy of your choice and then reinstall it after setting up real nice.

PCV valve is located on the side of the engine oil filler (not the dipstick). Be very careful removing this, as they are easy to damage and you don't want to create another potential vacuum leak.

1. Remove the rubber connecting tube.
2. Turn the valve anti-clockwise until its lock tab allows it to slide out (may require some spray lube).
3. Gently pull the valve out.

I roughed up the inside of the connector tube and placed some 5 minute epoxy inside. Then turned it, tube down and placed it on a strip of smooth plastic packaging, until it set. Slicing the plastic off with a sharp knife will help to keep the soft epoxy from tearing away from the walls of the tube.
