TOPIC: 1985 Ford F-150 Electronic Carb

I am wondering if someone can help me out. I am looking at a carb issue on a 1985 F-150. It has the electric carb and am wondering if it is possible to bypass the electric carb and go with the traditional carburetor so I wont have the same issues in the future.

I'd say maybe/probably. You mean it has a feedbqack type carb that has problems? What is the stock carb? a 2 barrel, a 4 barrel, is it a Holley, etc? what's the problem?
