I get the picture and I can't believe it's happening to The Gadgetman! Since now I'm 80 and on SS, I figured I'd eventually be able to generate a little extra income once I really learned how to do the groove. I will try to think of some way to help out.
So far the groove worked great on my Ford Windstar but the Toyota Matrix has been a real problem. My first groove at full depth with the large tool was a disaster, then the second try on a new throttle body using the medium size tool was much better but still not as good as the OEM original. I'm planning on removing the screen in the intake manifold shown in the attached picture. Maybe the screen interferes with the desired vortex flow. I just don"t know.
