This vehicle was grooved under the Personal License program, but I wanted to move some of the results over to this area of the forum so that all of the information could be together. After all this is the first place I looked at the forums to find out if my vehicle could possible benefit from this technology.
Below I will give a few sets of numbers for mileage that I personally tested, your results could vary based on who cuts your groove and your right foot. Apart from the extra bonus of added mileage; the engine runs smoother, and I don't have to worry about airing out the garage for a minute or two when pulling in because the exhaust is completely different now.
EPA Estimate for 2.5 4 cyl. Engine with 4 speed transmission
21 City
27 Hwy
Prior to groove, personal mileage. Variations were seen in different drivers.
21-23 City
29-30.5 Hwy
After the groove.
27.5 City (all day shopping, definitely stop and go traffic)
45 Hwy (Interstate driving with the cruise on)
