Hi JV

My wife has a 1995 nissan sunny 1600 here in New Zealand.
From what I can see here sunny and sentra are very similar.
I'm keen to groove this (have to get past her reluctance first) so I'm keen to know if you got any definite mileage improvement?
If so I'll have a huge market with that car alone, they're dime a dozen :-)

Nice post, some helpful stuff in here :-)

Cheers
Rino

Hi Rino,

Unfortunately the owner has not been using the vehicle much at all, the gas tank hasn't even been filled again since I performed the groove... so we don't know how the economy has been affected.

The vehicle has had error codes from the beginning that have never been resolved.

The last I heard, the owner said it was doing good for a while but, started loosing some power going up a hill one day and now the brake error light is on. So who knows what's going on as of now.

Sorry I can't report any good news yet, if ever, but I definitely will if anything happens.

Sounds to me like he has already found the problem!

He probably has a stuck caliper. Tell him to take it to your favorite brake man, and he will probably get that power back!

Remember those lights are there for good reasons!

Hi JV, yeah Ive had a few like that where I couldnt get MPG #'s or other feedback. Can be frustrating, esp. when you had good results on re-learn drive, or used a new technique, etc. But for me it all goes into "memory" for later retrival!

You're an aware G-man so I know you Learned from this one anyhow, and we all did too thx to your post!
