Thank you Michael, I'm excited to know how that goes for your Dad. I just sold one of my two motor homes and was actually looking to purchase a tundra around that age. Cool cool.......

Hey guys!
I just did a skype call with my father Bobby, and brother Daniel from the triangle area in North Carolina.
They did exactly what i told them as i follow the training manual ALWAYS :) (VERY IMPORTANT!)
They installed the new throttle in about 45 minutes, and this 4.7L didnt rev up or down upon startup. Nice and smooth above 1,200 rpm for about 2 minutes, then rested at about 5-600rpm! They both smelled the tailpipe after the second startup (at ONLY 5 minutes) it had NO SMELL from exhaust. Amazing Ron!
After the other procedures, they continued into the drive cycles. My dad bought this truck new, and said that the biggest increase in power he felt NOW was the 45-55mph range. This speaks volumes, because nearly all engines in vehicles ive driven feel numb in power at this point in speed especially going up hill, and they usually have to downshift to get more power. Not anymore for this truck :) He is filling up his tank now, resetting his odometer, and will tell me the number he gets next time his fuel light is on. Updates soon! I think tonight in the next few hours they will be sending me a video of their experience!
They sent me pictures of the process while on the skype call, but im having problems sharing it here. I will asap though!
The pictures show the pcv location, and where the tube connects to the throttle body.
etc...etc... :)
P.s. If you really want to see the pictures first before they can be attached here, visit my "Gadgetman Michael" Facebook business page (tomorrow) where i post my latest mods & results. Have a blessed New Year everyone!

Thats awesome Michael! We will be patient and look forward to any pictures and videos you provide. Like I said before, you are (MVG) most valuable groover 2018. Keep moving forward! I hope to have some more results on the Honda Insight soon.

I'm very pleased to accept the 2018 MVG award :) If its mine ofcourse! I do greatly appreciate the encouragement and possitivity.
Thanks for being patient with me guys. I'm VERY excited to hear more from your results with the Insight.
David, these trucks have proven their strength over the years, and with the groove now even more powerful, reliable, and ofcourse more fuel efficient!

No problem I'll always try my best to keep you guys updated. Ive got lots i haven't even posted yet! The only thing with this truck is he doesn't drive it all that much. Retired now, and i didn't recieve a pre-groove MPG report, but i do know from fuelly.com that these trucks usually get 14mpgs.
With that said i most definitely will get you the post-groove MPG report asap!

1: The GROOVE!
2: Showing where pcv hose connects to throttle body. My brother managed to fit the original pcv tubing over the vaccum cap to make it appear "stock"
3: Original throttle beside sexy new grooved throttle. (I feel like Ron would say something like this lol)
4: Showing the location of the pcv vaccum port coming from the throttle, and the vaccum cap now on.
5: Showing the mounting surface against intake manifold, and what the gasket looks like.
