Best bet is to dig into the forums and look at all the other tech here. Vacuum systems, electrical modifications, all kinds of stuff is here. And when you see a post that you like, be sure to add a comment, and ask them about your challenge. That way, you will be notified of their follow-up posts.
And go to the Welcome Mat, and put a post where it calls for new members. MANY people get notified of those posts, so be sure to mention your challenge there as well!

Also, I grooved one of those Tundras a few years back. Dude got over double his mileage, and that was on a 4WD, too. So it's definitely doable, my friend.
