Hi Orrist,

If this is a fly by wire, you may be to close, some vehicle ecu's actually pay more attention to air flow than they do pedal position. (2007 Chev avalanche 5.3L for one)

Thanks Karl I kid of thought that might be the problem ther isnt a lot of room in there to cut the groove and it is very thin I cut thrue in 3 plases.One was int the fly by wire passage and that was with the meadem bite.when I redoe it I will get my sister to take pix with her cell it takes better pix then my camera.Ron done one of these but I dont know if there was any change.Even with the way it is running she still is geting an extra 3 mpg and there is still that P 0016 code that we cant seem to get ride of it was there befor the groove.

It can be done must be within the throttle swing.
