So this throttle body was attached to half of the intake plenum and was somewhat difficult to get to. I had to come in and groove from the other side with a smaller bit so that I didn't break through the thin throttle body. I'm thinking of a way to make it thicker and still hold the structural integrity of the whole component. If I break through on half of the body, then something must replace the missing metal.
Ill let you know what I come up with.
Anyways, Violet (the owner of the vehicle) didn't notice any results, so we're taking in the Pontiac for the second time and are excited for a second modification. Thinking about cleaning and re-gapping the plugs as well. We'll also recheck for vacuum leaks and of course, a larger groove. Ill be sure to post results.
