This is one of the biggest bones I have to pick with the guy who did my site for me. The profiles are not editable.
Let this be a lesson. Don't use anything other than the templates provided with Joomla! This template was provided by RocketTheme, who makes money from fixing the problems created by using their product.
While they believe they're providing a service, I believe they have not the most critical of aspects everyone in Gadgetman Land is proud of: Integrity.
I've been trying to get this fixed for more than 2 years. I have decided to rip the guts out of the site and start from scratch because of this one fact, if no others.
I will never do that again. As they say, "Hindsight is 20/20."
