Hi everyone. This is just my opinion. Gas prices are the lowest in months. i'm going to pay attention to this issue.

While we all strive to increase our vehicles' fuel economy, I point out the common sense of keeping the gas tank full or close to it.

There is some uncertainty in many folk's mind as to increased possibility of economic instability in the coming year. So, having a full tank is a form of insurance. I'm just sayin'...

So if, as in the past, nothing major happens, then no harm done. On the other hand...

I'm sure you get my drift.

In the meantime, Merry Christmas to you all!B)

Sounds like good common sense to me. Haven't thought of it in that way. Just filled mine up. Happy new year to you and everyone.

Happy New Year to you, Kenneth, and everyone else here too!
A happy tank is a full tank. Of course we are striving to keep the tank full longer...But I say, I think there is a lot of rumbling in the backround of ....things, BIG things.

Keeping your tank full now makes sens to me.

Thank you Tracy,
Just so you know you can buy an additive to make your gas last longer (up to two years if you double the dosage) Its called STA-BIL Fuel stabilizer (Wal-Mart sells it) I stored about 25- 5 gallon gas cans a few years ago and they lasted about 22 months. Great stuff!!!

FWIW-
After reading reviews of Sta-Bil and PRI-G on Amazon I went with PRI-G. Worth looking into if you store fuel or want to rejuvenate old fuel.
I've been using for years with great results.
PRI-G Fuel Stabilizer. There is also a diesel version PRI-D.
