yes if you unplugged the batt that resets ecu. As far as her mileage shes had it since new and the best it ever got was 15.5 mpg hyw. you are very lucky to get what you were getting as I checked with several hemi owners and none not one have ever gotten the results you have now or the higher mpgs.I talked to chyr dealer and he said avg mpg 15 maybe 16 is the normal on hemi on hwy 13 town. HERS IS STILL CLIMBING WITH THE GROOVE BUT ALL VEHICLES AND EVEN THE SAME YEARS CAN HAVE DIFFERENT MPG. The fuel in mo. is different than yours different times of the years as they change blends we have ethanol in all our fuel state law. And yes how we drive,I would bet your mpg will start to increase by the end of April as they switch your blend last week in april Im curious please keep us posted. Thanks for the update Dan gadgetman mo.

Unfortunately for everyone, each state can do an amazing number of things with the fuel to mess you up.

Odd about the lower MPGs. I had checked them out before I purchased it, and I could swear the numbers were closer to the MPG's printed on the vehicle sticker (18 city, 25 highway). I've been peeved with 21-23, since I usually get 3-5 mpg better than sticker MPG. Sadly ironic if the numbers you entered were more accurate LOL

I doubt my MPG will increase, though. I've heard rumors they're going to be increasing the alchahol ratio, which will not only not increase MPG, will contribute to more damage to engine components - double :(

I will update it May/June my averages.

From what y'all have said here, and depending on what others say when I post in the main group, it looks like I'll have to get the groove removed. With 0% improvement, it comes down to the whistle. I can't drive with the window down - sounds like a piece of metal scraping on metal. With the windows up, only my teeth hurt.

Thanks for all the info!

The last post referred to "rumors" that the ethanol content in gasoline will be increasing. These are not rumors. The EPA is on the verge of approving E15
gasoline; see: Why you should avoid filling up your gas tank with ethanol-laced fuel
