Hey, Markus!

If you use the term "TBI" be sure you know that to be a "Throttle Body Injected" style!

To help us help you, having the Year, Make, Model and engine size. That way we can search our mental database for similar engines.

Be sure to take video and pics whenever possible!

Now...

GET GROOVY!

Hey Markus,

A shame it can't be done before the vacation road trips :)

The PCV valve, last picture, it is on the left valve cover with the smaller hose
coming off at a right angle.

Is that going into the base of the TB or the manifold, or is it plugged?

A friend has that TB on his pickup, will be interesting to see how it responds.

Do it... just do it... :)

I'm not so sure that's the PCV line, amigo's.

As we're looking at a 454 (7.5L) TBI system, the PCV runs off the rear of the TBI. You'll know for sure when you take the breather off, for the other line runs to the breather itself...

Have a GREAT time!

Ron

My RV is named 'Bob', Bob has a Chevy 454 (circa 1982) under the cover, same identical part.

Either way if it has a vacuum connection, it's worth checking into. :)

Hi karl, Question, Does This tbi system need a massflow meter ? Where is it. Or where would it normaly be? so far ive only got experiance with them being between the air filter and the throttle body. Ive grooved it and there is space for the big bit , being carefull not to cut into where the screws go. used the wrong type of epoxy, will clean that up and redo,
Chers and best wishes to everyone ;)
