TOPIC: Benefits that the Groove gives- the Point of View

We Gadgetmen are always thinking and talking about the reasons for and benefits of doing the Gadgetman Groove to engines.
Reducing Emissions, increasing power, and improving fuel economy, are spoken of and are highly sought after benefits.

but, there's Much more to the Groove. By burning more of the fuel IN the engine, instead of the catalytic converter and exhaust, carbon buildup and engine temp's are reduced. Oil stays cleaner longer, engine seals, gaskets and metals have less stresses. Less wear and stress on the engine means longer service life. fewer failures, less maintenance and Warranty issues.

It all results from a more complete combustion of the fuel, in Less time. More of the larger Hydrocarbon portions of the gas mix better with Oxygen. This means far more complete burning of more OF the gasoline. More of the BTU's in the gas are released inside the combustion chamber, to provide power. Because-- those BTU's are released much FASTER, under compression, in the combustion chambers, compared to in the exhaust ports and exhaust system. More heat goes to engine power faster, leaving less waste heat to conduct into the engine, and radiate to the rest of the vehicle, or environment. This even means a lower IR Heat Signature, a lower IR profile. Some folks care about that too. Less unburned fuel means, less carbon left behind to cause wear, deposits, oil contamination, etc.

You don't see these things going on right away, but they're there. And, to SOME folks, those responsible for providing and paying for maintenance, repairs, and Warranty service--these are Major benefits. Think about it.

And these reasons and benefits, accompany the better known ones. This is like a special Chocolate Cake, that makes you lose weight too! All these benefits are baked "into the Groove".
