TOPIC: Any Gas Analyzer recommendations?

Do you folks that have Analyzers have any tips or recommendations for someone who is shopping for one? I have seen the ferret machines but did not know if they are really worth the 6k they want for them.

Or the 1900 dollar machines from china?

I'm still shopping and probably won't buy for 6 months but knowing what to save for and watch ebay for helps.

Hi Ken, I don't have any info on this-I'd search tech forums, and try to talk to folks who use exhaust analyzers a lot. In person w/ any smog inspection techs, or diagnostic techs. There is a guy w/ a youtube channel called ScannerDanner who seems quite savvy. If you look on youtube you will see similar guys as well, try contacting guys like those w/ experience.
