So, the Throttlebody on this vehicle has a venturi that tapers out after the throttle plate.

In my experimenting I decided to modify the bore and create a straight path on the Groove side of the TB venturi. as shown below.




I also created a modified gasket to accomodate the TB modification (basically to prevent the possibility of the fill from coming loose and being ingested by the engine)





Will be taking it for a run up to Seattle on Monday so we will see what the response is at that time.

Interesting mod, Karl. Are you trying to keep air velocity up in the TB? I wonder if by doing this the "smoke ring" effect is enhanced? Good luck w/ this one be interesting whether it works!
