Vladimir, welcome! Your English is very good. Can’t wait to hear about your Nissan and the improvements. I have family who has lived in far eastern Russia several years ago, always fascinated by the amazing ingenuity of the Russian people, I have seen amazing creations from your countrymen, the Russian perspective is unique in the world, and a refreshing perspective at that!

Vladimir!

Once upon a time I had quite a network of Russian Gadgetmen! It was run by Sergei Bittirov out of Moscow...

It's going to be nice to have someone from the area active here. We certainly have a lot to teach.

Tell your friends to come, too!

Vladimir - welcome!
2 spark plugs per cylinder - do you know how that ignition system works? I have seen automotive engines like this before, where the second spark plug is meant to fire on the exhaust stroke to help lower emissions. For the engine that I’m remembering, someone determined how to re-route their spark plug leads so that both plugs fired at the same time, so that more of the Fuel burned for the power stroke. I would encourage you to look into that modification for your car now, first, to see if that is possible. If so, make that change, and then increase the spark plug gap. You want to burn ALL of the air-fuel charge INSIDE the cylinders for the highest fuel economy and most power and lowest emissions. Little modifications like this help the Groove do exactly that, and in your case, I’m optimistic for significant improvements.
Good luck, and please start your own topic/thread on the forum with pictures (or video, preferably) of your engine and the modifications you make.

Oh, and Vlad, the second spark plug is for the exhaust stroke. It's emissions reduction.

That's part of how they conceal the true wastefulness of the engine.\

Bullshit, really.

Hello Vladimir, and Welcome to the Gadgetman Groove forum!:cheer:

I'm excited to see another Russian brother join our Family. The Russian people and Culture have a very long history of inventiveness, which I've always admired. You are most Welcome here!!!

One think I'll mention: please take and upload pictures or videos of your work. Don't ever feel bashful or shy of this, as pictures give everyone a way to see what you're doing, and offer good advice.

There is a lot of great information for you to see in the various categories of postings.

And, your
English is very good!

We look forward to hearing more from you!!

Hay boys! Gettin groovy here! Im a southern country redneck from VA. I have a lifted 2006 Frontier V6 4x4 manual gearbox and I believe the very first mini to get the groove? Its a 2011 JCW sport model 1.6L turbo. I got the truck done. Definitely has more torque in the lower rpm range. But it didn’t have any mpg gains. Did some research on it and gonna try a EFIE device for the o2 sensors and see if that works. Haven’t had time to install it on the mini yet, hopefully soon!

Welcome, Vernon!
It’s great you’re seeing results from the grooves on the power side of things, and yes, EFIEs can help you on the mileage gain front.
You’ve got 2 vehicles that to the best of my recollection don’t have much detail on the forum here. Would you mind starting a new topic for each of them, and updating us on their progress individually? That makes things easier for folks coming here for the first time to search for their own vehicle, follow your process and learn from it - YOU become the expert, in other words, and you can point to the case studies you’ve done to prove it!

1st, I have watched probably 98 percent of Ron's vids over the last few years . Joined the site a while back. Just spoke to Ron & Michael about getting the Groove on my ole 2001 F150 5.4L . Michael is doing the mod and should have it in a few days ! Can't wait to see the mpg improve. Will give updates and probably have questions along the way. So thanks for answers and advice in the future. Have a blessed day, RickG

Hi again! Have been absent for a while - broke a leg. But now can walk again, slowly but on my own without any wooden helpers. And, as I promised, show you all my car. :)
