grooved carburetor, starts quicker, less smell from exhaust, doesn't bog engine sat all when mowing in heavy grass, smooth running no more pops, or pinging noises while running can't tell when firing because it runs so smooth first mowing of 1 acre yard used 1/2 the gas than a normal mowing before groove. gotta love that bonus in my wallet every mowing
