I did the groove to my best friends MODIFIED 03 mazda protege 2.0l manual. So far he has gained 65 miles extra to the tank in gas mileage.His mods made his car get less than 240 miles per tank and after the groove he went 305. He gapped the spark plugs larger and did the pcv valve mod also. Here are some pictures of his cool ride.

good on you, Claudio! Sure is nice to see results like this! Wow that engine is modded up. Don't see tube headers on newer cars very much. While I don't remember the specific vehicles, I've noticed a trend over the years that engines modified for more power, usually do very well w/ the Groove. With the headers and that fat air intake tube, it looks like this engine breathes well. I'd expect that it has REALLY good throttle response- esp. post-Groove!:cheer:
the better MPG's along with more power--what's not to like?:evil:
