We consumers are finally seeing gasoline prices going down. Crude oil prices are in near-freefall right now. Analysts are scratching their heads as to why.

Most will just breathe a sigh of relief...My own idea is, along with the supply-demand equation, increased US oil production, plus the fact the USA is in a Midterm election season now, are adding up to lower gas prices. HOORAY! :woohoo:

How low prices go, how long the price dip lasts here, who knows? Point is- with commodity prices, what goes down WILL go back up. And we all know how much it hurts when they do!  :(

So- don't go to sleep on this issue! Take advantage of more $$ in your wallet, do your wanted mods to your ride now While You Still CAN!! In the end you will be glad you did.

Tracy's original conclusion in the first post of this thread is more true now than when he posted it:

President Obama has publicly said he will veto the Keystone Pipeline project. The US will have a supply problem because of it. what does a low supply and high demand do to price?

Further, Pres. Obama has also agreed with the Chinese Leader to work at reducing GHG emissions in their respective countries. What does THAT mean? Carbon taxes. Watch, they'll sneak them in while prices are low so "nobody notices."

The upside to this is that it will force innovation in the transportation sector with a bonus spinoff to the environment. They're eventually going to force you to buy green by calling your vehicle a polluter, so tailpipe emissions testing will be re-initiated.

Effective grooves take care of both of those. And it's much much more cost effective to Groove than to buy a new vehicle.

Remember $130/barrel oil and $5/gallon gasoline? It'll be back.

Folks, this oil price drop WILL have massive consequences...!

US oil production also natural gas from fracking- the tech. that has caused analysts to call the US the "new Saudi Arabia" is enabled by high prices. There will be a drop in this American production as well as elsewhere it's in use. The producers cannot do so at a loss. The current glut in supplies will reverse. Prices will go back up. Economic, political and social dislocations will occur.

I'm not wanting to be doom and gloom. I'm just saying- again- if you want to increase your gas engine's efficiency, get started NOW. Get your Personal License, if you already have it, get busy. Don't be lulled to sleep as pump prices continue to drop this winter. Jump in here, ask Q/A. Go to youtube, look for Ron Hatton's channels Gadgetmanglobal and Groovy Service Bulletins. To get the insights about the Groove, find Ron's whiteboard vid's.

don't go to sleep on this...

Suddenly gas is going back up here, up 15 cents in past week...I drive past 3 stations in a block radius going home from work. In early Ferurary... none of this makes sense on face of it...But improving gas mileage DOES!! Whatcha gonna do, g-Men...???

Fuel prices fell here in New Zealand the last few months but also slowly on the rise again ! It don't matter how much the cost of fuel is there is always room for more fuel savings !

:P :P :P Have had diner with Mike and others who work in MoneyandMarkets several times, these are very good men to talk with.
As for oil we are seeing a bubble burst just like tech stock did. could see $35 a barrel for oil soon then to $200 most likely. Just takes time. WE have every storage place full, caves, old salt mines, old gold mines and tankers anchored out.
As for natural gas for now we are leaders in supply of natural gas with fracking going on but could be short lived, China has more natural gas than anyone in world BUT China does not have technology to get it out ground but China has bought stock in 2 USA companies who do have technology to get it out ground. Got to watch them.
China maybe taking lead from Canada in buying USA homes no matter what the price with cash.
Keystone Pipeline project last I read was to move oil from Canada to Gulf of Mexico port for export. No USA oil in it. Don't know if this is right.
First natural gas export terminal being build here in Savannah Ga.
Still no answer from EPA for question : what is in Kroger regular emission gas at Stone Mountain that not in Kroger non-emission regular gas in Savannah Ga ?? Every trip there 3.7 mpg gain on average coming home to Savannah

Our groove will solve alot of stuff for us, mpg just a start.

I agree Gerald, we need to cut our own path, don't wait or count on big business, the gubmint, or anyone else. We now have a good collection of techniques to use, along w/ the Groove, anyone can read around in here now and find nuggets. Of course we are open to new discoveries as they come along, to add to our Arsenal!

I'm going to try to attach an email I got from Eagle research, where he gives another perspective in low oil and gas prices and the effects thereof... Actually the story was also in this link...go to Eagle-Research.com and see what things George Wiseman has there.

hope the link works, George Wiseman is another Genius like Ron and others here! ;)
