Hi Ron
I used the business card on Ford F-150 drive by wire. I had to push the throttle plate in to be able to see the carbon line. Should I have cut the groove in it’s natural resting position. My manual didn’t say anything about GM only. My manual cover is dated 2012. Is there a more current manual you could share?
Thank you

Hi Ron
To be straight I should put the groove on right where the throttle plate sits instead of lining it up with the carbon make and holding with a business card unless GM?
Thanks

That part of the instructions are VERY clear in the manual, Todd!

ONLY on GM fly-by-wires do you need to use the business card.

But this discussion should be in another section of the Forums, don't you think?

My manual doesn’t cover it. It’s from 2012.

Todd,

While I do NOT support those who don't follow the rules (posting on mods, etcetera) I would be delighted to send you the latest via email.

Just request the info, and mention the date you purchased while asking for the new manual and I'll take care pof you right away!
